If you are interested in joining the Orchestra, please contact President Lesa Barnes by telephone, 360-643-3215, or email.

The Orchestra can use volunteer help with ushering, greeting, refreshment table staffing, publicity posting, stage set-up, and other tasks. If you are interested, please drop a note to email.

Donate

The Port Townsend Community Orchestra depends on the support of the community so that it can offer its concerts free of charge. Donations to the Orchestra's non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation are tax exempt. Your generosity will be acknowledged in its concert programs. If your donation exceeds $500 in value, a chair in the orchestra can be named in your honor for the season.

Five levels of donation to PTCO (per concert season) are possible:

Contributions go to buying or renting music, paying the salary of the Orchestra's outstanding conductor, obtaining insurance, renting the concert hall for performances and the band room for rehearsals, printing and mailing brochures each fall announcing the annual series of concerts, printing programs for each concert, and paying modest stipends and travel expenses, if necessary, to guest performers. To discuss a contribution, please call president Lesa Barnes, 360-643-3215.

You can donate online by using the button below. Your credit card donation will be securely transferred via PayPal.

OR, mail your donation to the address at the bottom of this page, and be sure to mention how you would like your name to appear in the program. Thank you for helping to make this season a success!

Valerie Harris Chamber Music Library

This extensive collection was donated to the orchestra by the late principal cellist Valerie Harris. Her generosity has made this music available on loan to orchestra members and others. The Catalog is supplied in pdf format; to open it you can Download the free Adobe Reader.
